SP4 CHRISTOPHER JOSEPH YOUNGBLOOD (December 12, 1953 - September 22, 1972) United States Army (Burial: Gulf Prairie Cemetery, Jones Creek, Texas).  Not on the Wall in Washington, D.C.: His death was due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident (riding a cycle), Republic of Korea

 

PVT (Infantry) LEO RAY BURNETT (November 15, 1945 - April 22, 1966) United States Army (Burial: Restwood Memorial Park, Clute, Texas). Not on the Wall in Washington, D.C.: He was one of 92 GI's and six crew members aboard a four-engine turboprop Electra which crashed into a hillside near Ardmore, Oklahoma. Most of the GI's were bound for the Airborne Training Center at Fort Benning, near Columbus, Georgia, from Fort Ord, near Monterey, California. The crash resulted in the deaths of 81 persons aboard.
