William C. Gill was born in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, sometime between 1804 and 1808. He came to Texas in late 1835 or early 1836 and served during the Texas Revolution in William S. Fisher's company, the Velasco Blues (Co. I, Texas Volunteers). Gil… more »
